Civic DX 1343
Hello,
Im after some help figuring out information about my '93 Civic DX 1343cc. its a single cam european model 16v, the engine number is a D13B2 and unless im massivly mistaken its injection. I cant find any information about this engine ANYWHERE! key information im looking for is; 1) is it a D-series engine? 2) torgue/power? 3) multi-point or single point injection? Any information would be much appreciated! ![]() ---------------------------------------------------------- It is carb'd than? thanks spoon. Im assuming the twin carb'd D14A1 would have the same mountings? theres a twin carb down my breakers yard and im thinking it might be worth bolting the carbs and manifold directly to the head in place of the single carb unit i currently have. Seeing as the D14A1 engine is 40cc's bigger im guessing it will run rich but would the ECU i have cope with this and run constantly leaner - or would the engine managment have to be changed, or is this idea possible at all? Anyone know? (And thanks for the suggestion Greenblurr, but an engine swap would make insurance companies hate me even more) Last edited by Chase743; 01-24-2007 at 03:31 PM. |
