tail lamp removal

On my 99 zx2 the manual says after you remove the two screws,just push the lamp to the side. I'm pushing my head off ,but it still seams to be stuck on something. Any ideas?

There's just the two screws and then it's pulled rearward not to the side.... There's a clip that still holds it but it will pull off.
