p0449 obd code

my van threw this code, which says evap system vent malfuntion, Anyone had this before or now of the fix. I'm thinking vent solenoid valve as my truck had the exact same code and that is what fixed it.

Could very well be. Here is what I decode it as:
P0449 Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Vent Solenoid Control Circuit

Could be the valve or the wiring going to it.

Let us know what happens.

Take Care,

Any updates on this code? I've got the same code on my truck and I've already changed the solenoid valve. Still have the code...

Did you have the code cleared? The code will not clear automatically until 100 vehicle starts with no error found. I've found the AutoZone stores will clear the code for you at no charge. Then at the next re-start see if the Check Engine light comes back.
