I just purchased a 1998 GMC Sierra Z71 and I want to get some nicer rims for it. I was wondering if the 99 and newer factory alloy's will fit the 98 and older trucks. I have the 245/75r16 rims and tires on it right now.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Re: Rims for a 98 GMC Sierra
yes, the newer style 6 lug wheels will fit older style 4WD 1500 trucks (88-98 & 99 classic) with the 6 lug pattern. factory size tires from the newer trucks are no problem. if you want to go with larger tires, you'll have to figure that out on your on.

Thanks for the help. I really hate the look of the old style rims and I need to upgrade.
I appreciate it. |
