2000 Venture Full Power, but won't START
I have not had any problems with my 2000 Venture WB edition. Then today I leave to go to the store in the snow, leave store starts fine. Get home and about a 2 hours later, it won't even try to turn over. Lights, radio, and even the TV works, but it won't try to turn over. What could possible be the problem?

Re: 2000 Venture Full Power, but won't START
Could be the anti-theft system. If you turn the key on, without trying to start it, does the security light start to flash after a few seconds? If it is flashing, it is the anti-theft system. It may start again after waiting for 10 minutes.

Re: 2000 Venture Full Power, but won't START
It didn't even click, but I got in there and pulled the starter out to replace... only to find my starter was full of oil. Then find out that I had to replace a bad oil fitting unit where the oil was leaking from. Every thing runs now... knocking on wood!
Thanks for all your help and ideas. |
