Modern saloon/hatchback side view...

I guess it could be a Ford, but here it is, anyway...

For the most part it looks pretty good. Your wheels and tires could definitely use some work. Keep practicing... it looks like you've got the body down real good though!

Yeah, as he said, the wheels need work but the body is great. Isn't drawing from the side fun. If you want any ideas, you should draw a car and then lower it and put rims and tvs and body kits on it. Very fun to do in free time.

Proportions are nearly perfect. I love the trunk section. The hood is a bit too massive and high for my taste. It's definately a Ford with Iosis and Mondeo genes.

Like the others already commented, work on the wheels. add some dark areas between the spokes and add some black space above the wheels so that they can spring in.

Anyway, I really like it.

I'd really like to see a perspective view of it or at least a version with shading. Keep it up!

Re: Modern saloon/hatchback side view...

car is nice, wheels are not good. take a week off and study and draw only wheels and tires from every angle possible. your weakness is in circles and ellipses. so focus on that right now. nevermind car for now. only wheels.

use circle guide. you are precise in the body of the car but you are awful with the wheels. you make hubs not in the centre? and brake rotors are squashed fruit behind bad spokes? and front wheel is larger than front?!
