Battery Light

My battery light came on yesterday but everything is still normal, nothing dim, starts fine and voltage gauge still at 14.0. Any ideas what this might be?
Also my warranty is about to be up and I have a humming noise when in 4wd, squealing noise on both pass windows, and when putting truck in any gear is sits still while at idle with brake released. Does anyone think I will have any problems with getting this repaired under warranty?

Thanks Chris

Re: Battery Light

The only thing I can come up with on top of my head is that the parking break is partially down keeping it from rolling forward unless you give it gas. Also, check and clean all the battery cables.

Re: Battery Light

don,t waste time take it to the dealer and get there verdict. the longer you wait the less they are likely to warrant it.. and then ask for our advice on your problems. wee will be glad to help.. good luck at the place you bot it.
