Where is the tranny fluid dipstick located on the 2000 Trooper?

Where/how do I add tranny fluid?

no dipstick (its a GM tranny). See the FAQ's on how to see how to check it.

Thanks...I'm not mechanical at all. Stupid question...you need a hand pump to fill the tranny fluid? What type of hand pump? Is this something I can buy at an automotive parts store?

yes, or some like to get the pressurized garden sprayer from homedepot.

just make sure you are totally up on the method of checking the fluid and filling the fluid. you check the fluid when it it is hot and the engine is running. do you know the procedure, if not do a search here, maybe in the FAQ too.
