Re: How to improve my shading?

Are you using pastel for your fades? If you are try to make the colour more dominant. The grey looks good for your hard reflections but you need the softer reflections to bring it together. Since it's a grey car, use a light blue or pale purple on the top of the car to give a more realistic look to it.

Hi! You must be a German. Willkommen bei AutomotiveForums.com!

I really like your style and the also the design of the car you psoted! It could work for a Skoda I think.

Unfortunately your image is so huge that I can hardly judge the proportions. We usually resize our pictures to 1024x768 (anywhere in that range) so that it fits a standard monitor.

Unfortunately I can't help you with the shading. It looks pretty fine imo already. I usually mess up with shading.

If you're studying Transportation Design, if you plan to do so, or - anyway please contact me via ICQ or messenger for a chat. I always love talking to fellow car designers, maybe we can share some info and tips.

Gruß

Robin

Re: How to improve my shading?

reduce image size in the post in the THREAD. i have to scroll across the damn THREAD to read any posts because of your damn image. you don't want to have anybody look at your drawing, i see that.
