I have a 97 Jeep Grand CHerokee and in the last week my heater is'nt working. I tried the blower motor, then was told control head and nothing is working. I have heat coming out but at the lowest setting. When I turn up the fan to med. or High nothing happens, still on low. When you change the dial from floor, etc. to defrost that changes though just not the fan control. I hope someone can help me out with this problem

Re: please help heater problem
Hello Everyone,
As many of you know, Grand Cherokees have a notorious problem of their heaters going out between 50k and 70k miles. I have managed to fix my own jeep heater problem quite easily, and if anyone is interested in learning more about this, they can contact me at jeepheaterfix at yahoo. It's a much better alternative than taking apart the dash or paying 1200 to 2000 dollars for a mechanic/dealership to do it, and I wouldn't bet on a recall. Best Wishes. |

Re: please help heater problem
Hello,
I have developed a solution for the jeep grand cherokee heating problem. The usual problem involves the breaking of the blend doors. My solution is strong, easy to install, and it definitely beats paying the dealer $1800!! For more info please email me: jeepheaterfix at yahoo
