95 Camry Replacing Remote Keyless Entry Battery
The battery on my Toyota remote keyless entry died and so I bought a replacement batter but everytime I put the new battery in the remote, the car alarm goes off imediately. Is there some procedure to replace the remote battery that I'm not aware of? Thanks in advance.

Clean the remote - it sounds like its got dirty contacts that are the reason the battery died. Basically the buttons are dirty and its like you're holding down the button.

Reinstall the battery, and then reprogram the TDS, I have the same problem months ago, but I fixed it once after reprogram it.
By the way, how long did your old battery last, I changed my battery 6 months. Does it go so fast?

Re: 95 Camry Replacing Remote Keyless Entry Battery
it's the "theft detection system", if you have a remote, i think your camry has that TDS.
The FCC of my remote is JDRAPSBT, if you have the same kind of remote I can tell you how to do.
