hood lock
hi, i was wondering what i need to make my latch on my hood lock pop back with out getting stuck? the only way to fix it for now is wedging a screwdriver in the lock and popping it back. i just dont want the hood to lock on me. I think it only needs a spring or hydralic, but im not sure where its located on the wire.thank you

Re: hood lock
Your explanation sounds confusing but here goes. The wire or cable has nothing to do with the hood poping up at hood release. The spring loaded mechanism is in the hood latch assembly. So a new latch will most likely solve your issue. Or try lubing it and/or check the latch to hood alignment.
