What newbies asume without asking :(

Well i was wondering if these jdm crx lights are going to fit my 88hb.... i was looking at a pic earlier today and they look more pointy tahn the usdm, and i know the us crx lights fit so i also thought that the jdms would lol. Will they fit? Also another question is someone was telling me that the 01 center console i got from an integra ls wont fit or work for the mod, only up to 00 they work....But i thought they didnt change the interior really till 02.One other thing is I also have a 91 SiR Gauge cluster oh yeah just had to right that and i was curious how hard is it actually to put in? or do you think i should just take it somewhere to get put in... thanks for the information guys! Don't know about the console, I didn't think they changed the car until '02 anyways, you could always check out 4th Generation Civic's website and see if it will install just like they say.

Now on the gauges, you would have to do some rewiring, not really that hard. If they are USDM gauges, check out my website, I have the diagram on how to swtich it over. If they are JDM, you should be able to find someplace on the net to say how, found a couple places when I was looking for diagrams.

CRX lights like I said before will not look right without the other JDM front peices..... Cluster you have to rewire but will work fine after that... The console will fit..

exactly what gauge clust is it? and what vehicle? I have a wiring diagram for both 88-89 Civic/CRX, and 90-91 Civic/CRX. Should be the same colored wires. That is how I figured out how to wire my gauges, was I found somewhere that told me what wire did what, and just matched the 2 up. Not that hard to figure out.

Over the guages cluster, there is the cover. On the back of the cover (towards the windshield), there are 2 beauty caps (screw covers). Pop them out with a flathead screwdriver. Underneath are 2 phillips screws. Then on the front of the cover, underneath the hazard-lights button and the dimmer control, there are some more phillips screws (I think there's 2). Anywho, once those are removed, you can pull the cover off (you will have to disconnect the wires for the hazard-light switch and the other stuff. Once the cover is off, you will be able to see how the guages are mounted.

Oh, FYI: It's kinda difficult to get the hazard-light switch plugged back in cuz the wiring harness is so short, but if you don't hook it up, your turn-signals won't work...

all you have to remove is the hood thing that is over it. Like 4 screws. two on bottom and two on top near the windshield.

I think he is saying that the 88 cover, doesn't look like it will fit the 91 gauges. I don't think it will because I have 88 gauges in my 91 civic and the gauges are a little bit smaller, you might be able to find the cover for a 91 and fit in on there. don't know for sure, also don't know if you can bolt those gauges up right. The brackets on the 88-89 clusters are spaced farther apart than the 90-91s, doesn't seem to be a problem when putting a 88 cluster in a 91, just put 2 screws in, stays in fine, but I don't know about the other way around. Never hurts to try though
