1991 eagle talon questions

I have a 91 Talon and when I pulled into work this morning it died. I tried to restart and it made a bad sound that sort of sounded like a grinding starter or a bad oil pump or something. So I checked my fluids and there was a lot of oil in the antifreeze. I checked the oil it was clean but low I changed the oil and tried to start, but it would not and that ended up being no spark. Are these two related and what do you think most likely caused the oil in the antifreeze and the loss of spark. There were no unusual sounds such as a knock and my temperature never got above normal according to my gauge.

Thank you for all your help.
