Cummins miles per gallon?

On the other hand, how many miles per gallon do your diesels get?

My brother has an '05 2500 automatic, he says he gets 17-18 in mixed city driving, and he's got a pretty heavy foot.

I've heard of Cummins/Dodge drivers getting 25mpg. The trick seems to be to keep your rpm's below 2000.

i have a 96 and i drive a little hard and still get 16-18 mpg

plan on bumping the timing a bit real soon this helps with mpg as well but on the 12 valves
