cv joint
I have a thumping noise coming from the driver side it sounds like a broken belt in the tire but I have changed it and it still makes the noise, thump thump thump......... could this be a cv joint or a wheel bearing,
it is a 2000 f-150 4x4? any answers????????? |

Is this noise in two wheel drive, four wheel drive, or all the time? It could be the hub if you have auto-locks.

IT is there all the time no matter if it is in 2 or 4.
and they are automatic hubs with the selector switch on the dash. |
