Fujimi/Nova 1/12 Ferrari F40. Who knows this kit?
I found this kit in 1/12 scale on hlj.com for preorder. Itīs very pricy but it says on the homepage that it has a skill level "5" and that it needs to be completed. So is this a semi-assembled kit or comparable to the 1/12 Revell F40? Does anybody have completed pictures or pictures of the kit?

Re: Fujimi/Nova Ferrari F40. Who knows this kit?
It's a reissue of Fujimi's 1990 kit. The kit is much like Pocher's offerings, with a mix of a pre-painted diecast body and plastic/metal parts. The kit came out before the pile-of-junks era of Fujimi, (i.e. designed by the Rosso staff), so it should be built into a nice replica.
It's hard to find a picture of a builtup model. I managed to find these models of unknown manufacturer in google-cashed auction listings. The sellers states that the scale is 1/12, has a pre-painted diecast body, and no Kyosho or Revell logos, so I assume the first link and the larger one in the second link are both the 1/12 Fujimi kit. http://72.14.253.104/search?q=cache:WBpGCrvZS0kJage13.auctions.yahoo.co .jp/jp/auction/r33175272+1/12+f40+%E5%86%8D%E8%B2%A9&hl=ja&gl=jp&ct=clnk&cd=9 http://72.14.253.104/search?q=cache:1vCOy3OOPpQJage4.auctions.yahoo.co. jp/jp/auction/d63960420+1/12+f40+%E3%83%95%E3%82%B8%E3%83%9F%E3%80%80%E8%A3% BD%E4%BD%9C&hl=ja&gl=jp&ct=clnk&cd=11 ADD: I found a partially assembled model. This is definitely the 1/12 F40 by Fujimi. (It's obvious with the box) http://homepage3.nifty.com/gensworks...isakukif40.htm |
