95 sable int lights.

I have read the quick fix for the int lights, with the wd-40 spray, but that did not work. I dont have a door adjar warning at all, but the lights inside the car will not turn off. I actually had to remove all the bulbs as tis was causing the battery to drain. is there another problem out there with model that can cause the lights to stay on??

Ok, if you get in the car, close the doors, just place the key in the ignition and you don't get the door ajar tone or door ajar dash light, then yes it isn't your door sensors. Might sound stupid, but did you make sure that the dash light dimmer switch isn't moved up to the position to turn on the dome lights? If that isn't the case, there is a timer to keep the interior lights on for a certain amount of time after the door is opened. Turning the key to the on position is suppose to override that timer and turn off the lights. Does that work? If it does, then I would say that the timer is bad.

Yeah the door adjar is not spunding, and when you turn the key to the on position, the lights stay on. The situations is the lights will stay on till the battery runs down. nothing short of removing the bulbs will cause the lights to go out.
