98 Taurus Intermittent wipers
Ok gang, I have a good one that I did not see posted here before.
My 98 taurus has a problem with the wipers. They work fine at low and high speed, but when you try to use the Intermittent wipers , they are actully working at low speed.. Now if you put the turn signal on in either direction they start to work corretly on the time delay, also when you are making a turn, but once the turn is done, or the turn signal is off they go back to low speed again. I suspect a loose or dirty connection somewhere, but I figured i'd throw this one out there.. thanks in advance. Paul. |

Re: 98 Taurus Intermittent wipers
The Multi Function Switch (turn signal stalk) gets dirty or the wiring up to it gets bad. I'm going to say that the MFS is your problem. There is a way to clean them ... there's an article about it on another site, but I can't link you because the site is down.
