Welcome to the first ever "Forum Thread Build-Up"....(that I know of)

I am starting this thread build up.....so that means you, the people, make the decisions for the kits...
Feel free to post more than one idea...if someone posts an idea, and you don't like it, just post on your idea...
All ideas and suggestions will be taken into consideration....

Once one kit is fully complete, we will have a couple days of break period and then start another one...
(hopefully....if the finances hold up)

These projects will be made on a broke and jobless man's budget...
(In other words...IF you want to DONATE PAINT, PARTS, KITS or even FINANCES...for any of the projects...that will be oh so VERY WELCOME!)

If you have any questions, please PM me....I'll be very happy to help...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

THIS IS THE FIRST PROJECT!

Model Kit by: Unknown

Year: 1981
Make: Volkswagon
Model: Westfalia (Bus/Camper)
Type: Camper

This is what we have up to now.....

Soooo......tell me what you think....what sould be changed or kept...

Any and all Small details also...
...I don't want it to look like it was made by a bunch of idiots.....'cause we are not.......right?.......(lmao)

I am really confused here. I get the concept, but the execution is not understood. Do we all say what we want, or do we just tell one person to do this and that?

Just post your ideas or suggestions on this thread...I will check in everyday and jot them down in my little list here, and try to fit every idea on the kit!

(if someone says "put on some 21inch wheels" but does not post the type of wheel, I would post something like..."ok...anyone got wheel style ideas?")

keep those posts comming....I like to know I'm being recognised.....lol

Is there a big hole in the van between the front door and the right headlight? That's awesome. Leave that. If that's not a hole, cut one there.

You also might want a rear bumper.

That's an external water hookup on the real one.

Not under the front door. In front of the front door, behind the right headlight. That giant hole that goes from the windshield to the bumper. That's the awesome hole.

Oh, goody- build by committee. Why didn't we think of this years ago?! Think of all the time and effort we've wasted building on our own, when we could have been arguing together in an epic struggle to move one single build forward. Truely, all that is great was created by committee. Koombaya, anyone?

Looks like it may be the old Revell/Revell Of Germany VW Camper.
I would start by taking as much of it apart as possible and soaking the parts in oven cleaner (or your favorite stripper) to see what is really salvageable. It this the type of input you want? - Mark

That ain't no hole, that's a layer of black paint

But it would be awesome if it was a hole

Flow-thru ventilation, almost as good as old pop-open safari glass on a Type 2
