When I first started watching it thats what I thought was happening, I thought that they were actually launching her. I was a bit concerned up until I saw her come back and then I was in total awww.

Water at that speed would be like hitting pavement. I would under no circumstances do that. Looks like big, messy accident waiting to happen.
