Exclamation My 1st honda...

yesturday was the first day ive ever owned a honda....i had a cavailer and a focus in the past. I love racing in the country with my friends. So its crazy that i can accutally win some good races now lolz....anywas its a 95 civic EX, with 112,000 miles, Cold air intake, full molded body kit with black paint, tail lights and coil overs, not to mention 5 spd. The guy i bought it from had a small fender bender and destoyed the body kit front bumper and the hood was took off. I got her for 1,300.... whitch is crazy cuz everything works, and it drives fantastic. But i want to give her a tune up, what should the gap be on the spark plugs? and will synthetic oil affect my vtec?(oh and its supose to kick in at 5400rpm right? Cuz thats when i can feel a differnce.

one last thing if anybody knows.....when i got over 75mph, i can smell a light exhaust smell...? thanks!!!!!

Re: My 1st honda...

Gap should be .43 inches. Synthetic oil should be fine. The smell was probably just the cat heating up.
