What the hell do you meen, Im reaidn it as if the subs are wired for 3 ohm will the amp still be 4ohm. No you change the impendance but that doesnt change the amps ability to handle less resistance.

What amp and what subs so we can get an idea of what your working with.

Don't ever look at cars as just imports or domestics. Just because a car is made in a certain country doesn't mean that it is anything like another car from that country. An example of this is Mitsubishi reliability, just because they are Japanese doesn't mean that they are as reliable as a Honda or Toyota.

Re: 2 ohm stable

I have the Profile AP2000 ... I dont have the subs yet, but i wanna get 2.. and have them wired to 1 channel..

Better yet... you look at that amp, you tell me 2 subs that you think are good and affordable.. and tell me how to wire them...

Re: 2 ohm stable

To get a 4 ohm load you will need to use parallel/series wiring. And the subs will have to be DVC 4ohm.

Unless you can find SVC 2 ohm then this will be the best way to bridge the amp.

Re: 2 ohm stable

Well if its 4ohm dvc then you go 2 ohm on each channel. And if you notice some of the subs i listed where svc and have an rms close to what the amp pushes at 4 ohm.

You dont need 1000watts to make a sub pound, if you can get a sub with 300 rms and put even 250 to it you can make it pound.

Thats why i love these idiots that keep saying i have a 1200watt sub hooked up to a 1200 watt legacy amp.
