95 Astro Dome Light

When the van is turned off the Dome light does not shut off. It is on some type of timer that used to shut off after about 5 seconds.

We noticed tonight that it shut off through the timer then turned back on.

We also notice that the light just turned on by itself as we were driving.

Any suggestions?

Is there some type of relay on this circuit that could have failed?

Is there a timer circuit that needs to be replaced?

Before going too far, make sure the door switches are working correctly. Maybe the electronics "thinks" there's an open door.
