Dance Dance Gran Turismo

Has anyone else here played GT4 with a dance mat controller? I raced a BMW M3 GTR on LeMans. Was actually kinda fun hopping around trying to keep the car on the track. I 'modified' the game's controls so the dance mat was UP-upshift, DOWN-downshift, steering left and right, X is accelerator and O was the brake. The very weird thing about this, GT4 doesn't recognize the Dance Mat on the controller selection...but what was even weirder was there was no (BACK) button on the mat, O was X, or (FORWARD) and that really confused me. If you have a sister and she has DDR, and you really want to try this, First plug in a normal controller and go to the race screen, remember I said you can't go backwards on the dance mat.

Re: Dance Dance Gran Turismo

yeah I just packed up my momo wheel because I'm going back to college. I was really curious about it though, and it was like dancing in a race...if that makes any sense. at all. it does to me.

I thought about that one day, funny to see it actually works. I miss my GT3 Logitech wheel...

Any of you guys seen the new Logitech wheel? Its fucking amazing, clutch pedal, 6 speed stick shift, leather wheel, aluminum pedals. It was jaw dropping.

Re: Dance Dance Gran Turismo

It's 250 with free shipping from some online computer store. I bought the momo instead becuase It's widely used, I like how it looks and I was worried the 6 speed shifter to sequential shifter would break, doesn't seem sound if it switches from one to the other does it? I'm talking about the PC, sorry. DFP is still really really good for PS2.

As it stands now, I'm considering getting better pedals for my momo, there's new actlabs ones (3 pedal) for 168USD.
