f 250 lights will not shut off

i have a 2002 f -250 and the head lights will not shut off and also the back up lights are on also what do i do?

Are you saying the headlights will stay on to the point of having to disconnect the battery? If that is so,without seeing a wiring schematic, I would have to believe a headlight switch malfunction. The possibility also exists the headlight relay failed.Normally the backup lights would not be powered when the ignition switch is in the off position,so there is the indication of other gremlins at work.
