Windshield Wiper Fluid Alarm

I have a 2004 Passat. Recently, the windshield wiper fluid indicator came on in the front display. I filled the reservoir, but the indicator light is still on. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?
Thanks,
Dan

Re: Windshield Wiper Fluid Alarm

Have you turned your car off and on after filling the reservoir? If you fill it with the car still running your light sensor does not read it as full. If you have done this, then check your fuse...it may be out. Other wise, it could be like the check engine and need to be reset....try the 4 times off and on rule, and then if it is still on do further research.....Hope that helps and Good Luck.
