Doge 97 intrepid reverse lights

Does anyone know how to change the reverse lights on a 97 intrepid? I tried removing the nuts that screw the assemply on the trunk and tried taking off the assembly that has intrepid inscribed on it, with no luck, any ideas? Wish it was as easy as removing the the tail light assemblies or the front turn light assemblies, but it isn't? Jiffy lube couldn't do it, and I tried myself with no luck, I have the bulbs, I just need a step by step procedure on how to get this assembly off so I can change the reverse light bulbs. Any help would greatly be appreciated.
