My son has a 2000 GP. When you push the button to shut the traction control off, the Trac Off light does not come on and the trac control does not disable.
Any ideas as to where to start looking for the problem. This is very annoying in slippery conditions. Thanks in advance |

Re: Trac Control won't shut off ?
Sounds more like the other way around. The traction control system is staying engaged since you are not getting a TRAC OFF light.
All traction control functions are handled by the EBTCM module also, which controls ABS.

Re: Trac Control won't shut off ?
check fuse #28 in the fuse box in the engine bay above the battery.
