2002 Pontiac montana no heat

The heat in our Montana just started not working. If your stopped theres no heat just cold air blows, and when we are moving only warm not hot air comes in. Is the theremostat sticking. There are no lights on the dash and it not low in coolant. Theres no sweat sticky smell either.

Re: 2002 Pontiac montana no heat

In my '99 Montana, the little flapper valve in air flow opperates by motor and the fuse may be busted. If you hear it move when you switch locations of where the air flow is supposed to go, then that may be ok. Also, if the HVAC air filter (in the glove box of all places) is plugged, the air flow is greatly restricted.
