help... wipers wont stop working please help

my dad has a 2003 yukon and the windshield wipers wont stop working. it just stays on and wont turn off. he took out the fuse to get it to stop but once u put the fuse back it, it then continues to turn on again and wont stop. wat can the problem be. please help

There is a module mounted as cover to the windsheild wiper motor. It controls the wiper delay and speed. About 25$ from a parts supplier. try replacing that first.

The module controlling wiper functions often fails. It is an easy fix. It is mounted on the wiper motor and can be replaced for less than $30.

My 97 has it on the firewall between the engine and the steering column

I have a 2004 Yukon Denali and my wipers started doing the same thing last night. Luckily it was raining then but today I wasn't so lucky and have black streaks of rubber all over my windshield.

Did replacing the controller work?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. This problem is driving me nuts.

If anyone would be so kind as to provide any insight or experience they may have had, I thank you in advance.
