I bought a 2002 Elantra this spring. They showed me how the remote starter worked, but now that I need it, I can't remember how it works
and nothing I've tried has worked so far!It has three buttons, one unlock, one lock and the asterix. I remember this much: -Leave the car in neutral, (it's a standard transmission) -hit the asterix button to set it. (should my key still be in the ignition? Can I do this after I've gotten out of the car?) -When starting, I know I should hit two buttons at the same time, but I can't seem to get any combination of buttons to work.... HELP! It's cold out here! Thanks! |

Re: Can't remember how my remote starter works!
If it's the same as mine, you have to hit the * button twice.
