1997 LeSabre Frozen Wipers
When I shut off my car, I left the wipers up on the windshield. Freezing rain came next. As I started the car, the wipers wouldn't come loose and, even after freeing them up, they no longer work. I couldn't find a blown fuse. Any ideas, anyone? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Re: 1997 LeSabre Frozen Wipers
Welcome to the forum..
Proubbly a fuse often a breaker fuse. Gets hot and then works when cold. It depends on the year of the car. Oh I see 97' Do you garage it in warm air? Is it still a bit frozen? ITs coooold out there in many places. 7 below here tonight.. Newer cars usually prepare by design for these conditions.. Mine failed and started working after a day of warm. Usually from not allowing them to return to home (down tucked away) when I turn off the car. Someone will post a follow up on your model. Hang on. Good Luck

Re: 1997 LeSabre Frozen Wipers
I had chipped away the 6" of sleet and ice but not right around the spindles. After some more chipping away last night and some deicer, they're working again. I feel like an idiot - they were just frozen in place!!
