Exclamation Early 90's Honda Civic....HELP??

Does anyone know where I can find a early 90's Civic model kit??

I am about to buy this car and, like all my other cars, would like to build a reference model beforehand...
(to see what I end up with before spending my money on real parts)

If you can find me a kit to this style Honda Civic, I would be very grateful and be willing to pay...ALOT!...

Thanks...

tamiya used to make the hatchback version of that generation of civic but its been discontinued for a while now. you might be able to find some different ones on ebay.

this is the one im talking about:

Re: Early 90's Honda Civic....HELP??

Man,I'm about to nut searching for a civic ferio. So,what i'm almost doing (because I don't like the revell one so much because It hasn't the stock bumper) : I'm about to get my hasegawa civic, cut the front/rear,cut the integra front/rear,and make an civintegra sedan/coupé.

So,you can try to get an boxy car,an Revell or AMT (I don't know wich),and you can put the tamiya civic front, rear. and make some adaptations to put it in place.
I hope you understand what i'm trying to say. Sorry for the bad english.

I think it's going to be a little more complicated than that.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
If someone can make me just the body, I'd be willing to pay alot....

(OVER $50...JUST FOR THE BODY ITSELF!)

The stats of the real car......

Year: 1990
Make: Honda
Model: Civic
Special: DX
Doors: 4DR
Engine: 1.5L 4cyl.
Drive: Front
Trans: Manual 5 speed

..........I am ready to procure any pics to help build it..........
...Just tell me the view, and I'll take the pic from all angles...

(This car in model form would mean ALOT to me)

I think I'll go ahead and make it for you. This was my first car as well. I think over $50... just for the body itself would be a great price to recoup my costs and effort. Especially since I'd sell to all of you and zero other people. But, I'm hesitant. I may not want to sell it to you if you might paint it like that VW van. And if you might cut holes in it. That's not cool on Hondas, just VW vans.

You ain't got to worry 'bout that.....'cause I'm gonna take my time with this one...(plus I didn't make the van that way)....by the time I'll be done with this Honda...It'll be the sweetest tuner you'll ever see....lol
(I'm building exactly like I would the real one...use it as a reference to the real one)

Re: Early 90's Honda Civic....HELP??

I thought tamiya makes the civic that is of one generation older than the one you want. At least the head lights are different, the hatch is also different if you compare both hatchbacks in real life(AH vs EF). They look very similar though.

AH:

EF:

Re: Early 90's Honda Civic....HELP??

There are a couple problems with that.....mine is not a hatchback....and it's a 4 door....

But where can I get a kit like the EF?.....I love hondas and would love to build that car....

The front end can be taken from Fujimi's CRX kits of that generation.

If Will can't come up with the model...Are you not going to get the 1:1 then? Cus it would be a shame.
