Ford Alarm
ok,i armed my car. i locked myself outta da car, but have da key(no keychain alarm). got in, turn the ignition, alarm goes off.didnt know how to stop it, i went to the source. went under the hood and dics da battery. fews secs later i connect da battery agen. from den on, the alarm and evry button on the keychain doesnt werk.........ANY iDEAS?

You'll probably have to reprogram the keyless entry. There are instructions on the internet, just google it. If memory serves me correctly the module is in the trunk.

These instructions will work on Thunderbird models, 93 - 97:

Turn ignition to RUN or ACC. Momentarily jump pins in programming connector located in LR quarter panel area. All doors will lock then unlock to confirm programming mode. Press any button on 1st transmitter. Door locks will cycle to confirm programming. Press any button on 2nd transmitter (up to 4 transmitters total possible). Turn ignition to OFF. Locks will again cycle to indicate end of programming mode.

im sorry if i CONFUSED some readers by using "DA"meaning"THE" and "DEN"meaning"THEN",....i just assumed everyone was born with COMMON SENSE. SORRY agen to those readers "dat" "dis" meassage applies to, ill try to be more considerate of others who have mental difficulties...
