2001 300M front door locks stopped working

The front door locks do not work using the key fab or the door switches. The back doors do work however. Any suggestions on what I should do. I've heard that it is a relay switch issue, but don't know how to go about doing this.

Anyone's help is much appreciated.

The door lock actuators are dead. You will probably need two new ones. Strange, did they both go at exactly the same time or soon after each other?
Expect a couple of hundred each at the dealer or about $60 each and do it yourself. Not too difficult, but the hardware on the latching mechanism is difficult to work with in order to get to the locks themselves. For more info go to 300mclub.org.

Yes, they both stopped working at the same time. Looks like I will buy the parts and do it myself. Thanks for your input.

It's tricky gettng the door opening hardware unhitched. Check out the website I gave to you for all the info you could ever want regarding the M.
