I bought this car for 8,000 and it has a 350 c.i. with a 750 cfm carb and it has been dynoed and has 309 horses with 315 pounds of torque what can i do to this thing to make it run faster. With minimum costs of course. http://album.dvd-photo-slideshow.com...006-08-13.html

Re: 1970 Chevy Impala Custom

Pretty car. Hmmm... A dollar a pound. That's not too bad.

Free up the exhaust, from the heads back. The Ram Horns on it aren't bad, but they aren't optimal.

What is the transmission like? TH350? Depending upon the converter stall and rear axle gearing, you may be able to make some improvements.

No matter what you do or don't do, 309HP to the ground is not too shabby for a 350.
