"Tuner" RM Chopper

This ones based on the "Torch" kit . As my previous chopper build was an old school style bike I thought I'd try something a bit more contemporary. I'd recently built a Vertex Ridge S15 Silvia in Orange with a c/f hood and liked the colour combination so I thought why not a "tuner" chopper ?.
The frame is Peugeot Seville Orange and the tank, tins, belt cover & grips have been treated to some Scale Motorsport twill weave CF decal. The seat was narrowed & covered in Model Factory Hiro self adhesive leather cloth. I had a go at adding the various fuel, oil, brake lines etc which were made from various bits of braided hose etc that I had lying around. The Carb came from Replicas & Minatures and the aircleaner is a machined aluminium one.

Thanks for looking
Andy

Re: "Tuner" RM Chopper

Excellent cf work. You did a great job on the cables too. I guess it's the cf decals that would put this in a "tuner" catagory.

This was a great build to follow Andy. My hat off for the CF work and your added detail. Looks really great. Have you got addicted to these bikes now, and if so, what is to follow?
Only thing I would have wished for is some work on the fork legs as I think the bottom leg/sliding part area looks a bit plastic.

Re: "Tuner" RM Chopper

wow! One of my friends took a snap of some bike with parts made completely of carbon fiber. Good work on it, by the way. If you don't mind me asking, What carbon fiber is that you used?
