Stalling, and mis firing

Hello everyone. I am new to this site.
My husband and I bought a 1985 Chevy S-10 about two months ago. we have since replaced some minor things on it: Fuel Filter, Spark Plugs, Air Filter, PCV Valve. Then a week or so ago it began to run very poorly again..It started to stall while driving, and seems to lose power. It also back fores when you first start the truck. We are at a complete loss as to what this could be. We have had someone look at it and they suggested maybe the Fuel Filter, but we replaced it yesterday, and did no good.
We would greatly appreciate any help!!

Fuel Filter
Cap
Rotor

You don't change the plugs without doing the cap and rotor ever.
