Question 2002 Deville

I have a 2002 Deville with 78600 miles on it. I am getting a slight burning smell from the car when it is ran for a while. I have checked all the fluids and everything is full. I have also checked the belt to see if there is any signs of wear and that is okay also. The car was at the dealers for a problem not to long ago and they fixed that no problem. They didn't spot any other problems then either. Does anyone have an idea what is causing this smell???

Re: 2002 Deville

Probably a tiny oil leak. Valve cover gaskets are often the culprit, allowing a bit of oil to drip onto a hot exhaust manifold. It could be other things also. The best way to find it is to look harder for any leak, oil coolant, or transmission.
Good luck.

Re: 2002 Deville

Sometimes my tires make that smell. It's from driving around turns on 2 wheels maybe? j/k
My tires really do stink after driving at higher speeds or long distances though.
