98 GC Heater Fan makes noise
I have a 1998 Grand Cherokee and when I turn the fan on for the heat, it is making a noise. I am almost positive that a leaf or something got in there and it is rubbing against the fan.
Does anyone know 1) Where is the fan motor 2) How to open it up and clean it out Thanks for any help. |

Re: 98 GC Heater Fan makes noise
Try fishing for it through the defrost vents. That's the most likely place for something to fall in towards the fan.

Re: 98 GC Heater Fan makes noise
Hello,
I have developed a solution for the jeep grand cherokee heating problem. The usual problem involves the breaking of the blend doors. Sometimes when the blend doors break, the plastic can rattle throughout the system, creating a lot of noise. This occurs more often than any other heat/a.c. issue. My solution is strong, easy to install, and it definitely beats paying the dealer $1800!! For more info please email me: jeepheaterfix at yahoo |
