Spark Plugs!!!! I Need Help!!!!

Hey!! I Have A 2003 Eclipse Rs And I Can't Find The Damn Spark Plugs Does Anyone Knows Where The Hell They Are???

wait....you cant find the plugs on a 4 banger.....thats odd.....They should be right out in front there...or if the engine is reversed they are on the backside (i doubt it). Someone with an RS or a working knowledge of the 4g63/4 motor please tell me I am not stupid and that they are right in front of this guys face.

yea i know i saw the fuel injectiors, although, there are 4 plugs on top of the pistons and they are covered with black plastic caps and i donno if they are the spark plugs or not! i couldnt take them off... im about to go nuts here

Well...were they kinda rubber like boots, with wires running to them? If they were then yes, those are your spark plugs. You have to pull kinda hard on them....and to be honest with you, if you had that much trouble finding the plugs, I am not sure you should be changing them (just my 2 cents). PLEASE USE A TORQUE WRENCH!

LMAO... yea thats lil mean but i understand.. this is my very first eclipse.. so i didnt wanna proceed on something i might fuck up... but i thought those were the sparks thank you alot.. oh n by any chance.. how do u think i can get about 300 hp without a turbo or supercharger??

Unless you got money commin out your ass (and I do mean 10's of thousands of dollars in engine work) you cant. Even with a turbo/super you cant just slap one on and hope to get the numbers you want. Your goal should be to have a well rounded car that performs well in straight lines, on the track, and can stop on a dime. What good is power if you cant control it, or stop.

As for turbo would require a higher end turbo kit (put together by you seeing as how the ones made now are crap)

lol... money can be made but as far as spending 10s of thousands of dollars its aint worth it.. but good news took care the sparks.. i finally found them.. it was harder then i expected but its kool now.. i appriciate the help.. wat kind of eclipse u got??
