camry=lexus???

is it true camry shared the drive train with lexus?? if so,what is the years and model type?

Here are the only overlaps I know about:

2VZ-FE 2.5L: This engine was available for Camry 1988-’91 and the Lexus ES250 1990-’91. North America saw this motor introduced on the FWD 1988 Toyota Camry and 1988 Lexus ES250

3VZ-FE 3.0L: This engine was used in the 1992-’93 Camry and the 1992-’93 Lexus ES300.

I think the best year for Camrys was '96. Last year of the 3rd generation.
