Question RX7 GT-C with engine

Hey guys... i'm wanna make an RX7 GT-C with engine, so how do you propose i go about it? I already have the Tamiya RX7-R1 for the engine... i thought of grafting the bodykit from the Aoshima RX7 GT-C kit onto the tamiya kit. Do you think this will work? I hear the body dimensions are slightly different. I've also heard the Aoshima chassis is has more detail. Could someone recommend a plan of action?

yup the body is slightly diff from tamiya, but don't think the aoshima chassis is very detailed. nwayz why don't you jus use the aoshima kit and jus stick the engine into it. jus cut open the hood of it, you have to modify it too. you have to make some vents on the hood. nwayz 'll post some pix. lates and gud luck.
