Speedometer

Does anyone know if the speedo on a 2003 1500 is connected to the front wheel or the transmission??

The speedo gets it's signal from the VCM or BCM (computers). The VCM or BCM gets its signal from the VSS (vehicle speed sensor) which is mounted on the tranny or transfer case reading rear driveline speed.
