engine ticking/ knocking... help please!

ok i own a 93 coupe 5 speed with the stock ka and i noticeds what sounds like lifter tick... took the valve cover off to find nothing loose. i came to the conclusions that i may have a bent valve. should i replace the head, or just get a new motor completely. i have been looking for an rb20det swap, but cant find the motor mounts anywhere. any help would be appreciated, thanks.

maybe its because enjuku worked on your car?

all high mileage OHC motors get valve ticks. its normal. when it gets really loud is when you need some valvetrain work.

Both McKinney Motorsports and Top Hat Performance make motor mounts for an RB swap. I really don't know much about the Top Hat mounts though, so unless you find someone that does, use the McKinney mounts. A lot of people have said great things about them.

ok nevermind the help on the noise issue... the motor blew up tonight on the drive back home to CT from FL. luckily it went only 20 miles away from where i left from and not like halfway there... now selling the car if anyone is interested. ill take nothing lower than $500 cuz itll be screwin me. i just put in a new clutch master cylinder and a new slave cylinder. new tires and 2 rear rims are off 85 datsun 280zx. has muffler and custom interior. i have the car in north port, FL.
