Re: abs light

Before you go any further contact Gavin at:
http://modulemaster.com/gmabsrepair.html
The dealer wanted 1800$ to fix my ABS pump and EBCM and Gavin fixed my ECBM and gave me a reworked pump. I think my total cost including paying someone to install the pump was under $300. The EBCM's have components that can't handle ABS activation and burn up. You can also do an ABS search in this forum and gain all kinds of info about our trucks problems.

Re: abs light

Check the wiring on the ECBM itself. The ground wire on mine had totally corroded through and my abs light was on and abs function was gone. I soldered a new section in and problem was solved. This may not be your problem though. Like Sonny01 says, do a search for other ideas. One thing to remember is that although you may have lost abs, normal brake function should still be there.

Should have kept listening.
If you post the fault you are having, plus any symptoms and codes, you would get better advice.
Gavin does good work, I have recommended him to lots of people...but lets come to a fault cause before replacing any parts
