Angry bah..

humbug! :zx11pissed:

cracked open my new porsche 911 gt1 kit today. went to soak the trees in a bucket of soapy water (poor man's primer) and when i took the body panels out of the plastic, the farkin' tire decal sheet fell out and into the water!

tried in vain to scramble and get them on to the tires but alas, 'twas too late and i ended up with fingertips of "mi" "chel" "in" "p" "ilo" "t XS"

so my question is, where from here? where can i get replacement tire decals for a '96 GT1?

I have spares of the tire decals for the NSX GT kits. Bridgestone Potenza, IIRC... PM if interested...

The good news is that with Michelin Pilot finger tips you should be able to grip things a lot better, especially at high speeds and even in the wet. :hehe:

thanks for the help folks, i'll try and contact them. don't particularly feel like going through too much rigamorole for these decals so i may end up rumagging through the 'bag'o'unused decals' and come up with a suitable replacement

lesson learned though!
