Thermostat location

Where is the thermostat located on this car? '90 6000 LE 3.1 LTR.
Also, they offer a replacement one @ 195* or 180* I want to get heat in the car asap! Which one to get? Thanks.

The easy way to find the thermostat is to follow the upper radiator hose back to the engine. Where it connects is the thermostat housing. You my have to remove several items to get to it. Go with the 195 degree stat. That should be stock and should get you the most heat.

On another note........you {GTP Dad} had helped me with a 95 Grand Am with a head gasket issue. She has been doing well. No leaks and plenty of compression. Just wanted to say thanks, again.
