Smile Subaru Sti converted to stock WRX, well, maybe 98% anyway.

Built a replica of my nephews WRX, as much as I could without scratch building etc. I used wheels form the Fujimi RSX/Integra because they are the closest I've found to the stock Scooby wheel, and they are the correct diameter. I lowered the car a little thanks to you guys suggestion in a previous post.

Is that with the silver sticker in the taillights? Looks nice...

Whenever my WRX gets done, it will be de-STi-ed, too. :coolguy:

...then your nephew calls and tells you he slammed it on some 20"s and added a spare wing from a crashed Cessna jet.

j/k, that's a great job, very clean and sexy in its stockness. Light gray panel lines?

Yes, it looks pretty good, although you can tell where some of the adhesive is sticking to the lense.

He's already shopping for 17's and has upgraded the down pipe, plus bought a hi perf exhaust. It's going to be fun driving it this weekend when he arrives!

Thumbs up Nice!

Very nice, I guess that other 2 percent from stock is the "Patrick's going to have to learn how to shift with his left hand" dashboard?!

Does he know you've built it? The wheels look quite good. How jaded we are thinking they all look tiny, when you just put 'em on and lower it a bit it looks fine.

I've gotta get together w/you guys one of these days...he did say I could test drive it when I see him next

Nope. Many years ago I built a replica of the Merkur XR4Ti he use to have, it was also a 98%er. He still has the model so it seems he appreciates the effort.
